Biography
Robin Lim graduated from the University of Leeds, England in 1989 with an LLB Honours degree. He was called to the English Bar by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in 1990 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1991 after reading in chambers at Messrs Khaw & Hussein. He was a Legal Associate at Messrs Yong & Rakan-Rakan from 1991 doing general litigation before joining Messrs Azim, Ong & Krishnan in April 1993. Robin was attached with a Queen’s Counsel in London for three months in 1996. Robin joined the firm in March 1998 as a partner. Presently, Robin is the partner in charge of all litigation matters and he appears regularly in the Malaysian courts at all levels as counsel. Besides specialising in foreclosure and subrogation related matters and advising various financial institutions on latest legal development and day to day legal issues, Robin also undertakes counsel work and has represented the Malaysian Bar Council in several matters. He regularly gives talks on legal process and law topics to various clients especially financial institutions.
